We sell stone the way
it should be bought.
Slowly, in person, and only when it’s the right block. Monolith was founded in 1998 on a simple idea — that the best stone never reaches a showroom floor unless someone goes to the mountain to find it.
02What we believe
Natural stone is the only building material that was finished before we arrived — shaped over millions of years, then simply revealed. Our job is restraint: to find the block that doesn’t need improving, and to cut it so the stone, not the supplier, is the thing you remember.
We stay deliberately small. We’d rather carry two thousand exceptional slabs than twenty thousand ordinary ones, rather turn down a job than ship the wrong material, and rather you visit once and stay a client for thirty years.

At the mountain,
not the middleman.
We buy block by block, at the quarry, in person. It is slower and more expensive — and it is the only way to know a slab’s provenance, its movement, and that the next one in the bundle will match.
Those relationships, built over twenty-six years, are why a block too rare for anyone else’s catalogue still finds its way to our floor first.

Built to outlast
the building.
Every slab is fabricated and installed by people we employ, sealed with an aftercare program, and documented so it can be matched decades later. Stone this good deserves to be treated as permanent — because it is.

The showroom is the
best argument we have.
